About Me

Ever since I was a little girl I have wanted to make a difference in peoples lives. I took my first picture when I was 5 and haven’t let go of the camera yet. After traveling through Thailand in October of 2003, I decided that photography was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. One day I hope to catch the eye of National Geographic, but for now I am doing what I love, making images and capturing life as it happens.

I am available for travel world wide and would love to capture the moments of your life, in any country!

Rajinder + Priya: 11.28.08 Wedding Preview

As is the trend for me lately this blog post is very late, but my resolution for 2009 is to be more on time with these. Anyway, I hope you all will agree that I think it was worth the wait! For the second time this year Amy and I had the pleasure of taking part in one of the most facsinating wedding ceremonies we will ever photograph.

Raj and Priya had contacted us to photograph their Sikh wedding Thanksgiving week and we were thrilled to do it! We even had the help of the fabulous Darrin Wassom :) The ceremony took place at the Sikh temple in Ada with the hugest reception I have ever been to at Frederick Meijer Gardens!! Everything was decorated beautifully! I was blown away by the details and the laid back feeling I got from both Raj and Priya and their families. We could not have felt more welcome :)

For those of you who do not know much about the Sikh traditions I will try to explain what is happening as we go. I am going to let the pictures speak for themselves, so grab a cup of joe, sit back and enjoy :)

Raj and Priya, I cannot tell you how much we enjoyed working with you both and I cannot wait to get together in California in a few weeks!!
